Some memories from Northern Rocks 2015
Come and be part of the teaching revolution! The first Northern Rocks Education Conference #NRocks was held on Saturday 7th June 2014 at Leeds Metropolitan University. 500 teachers gathered in the rain to reclaim their profession, to stand up and say that whatever policy makers do and think, we’ll carry on working on behalf of children, hoping not moping and doing the job in hand. And we liked it, so we will do it again next year. There are workshops and debates, song and laughter. It’s a proper northern shin dig with a serious message. We are teachers who thought that a major teaching and learning event in the North of England was long overdue. We are teachers who thought it was time to self organise and share best practice. So come along, see some of the biggest names in education, giving up their time for free and have a great day.
